SautiRIS

Coordinate imaging. Document quality. Connect care.

An open-source radiology platform connecting examination workflows, structured reporting, dose oversight, peer review and clinical-system interfaces.

Alpha release.

System overview
  • Examination coordination
  • Reporting & review
  • Dose oversight
  • Open integration interfaces

The radiology workflow extends beyond the worklist.

SautiRIS brings the examination, its report and the surrounding quality records into a common application foundation. Scheduling and procedure states connect to structured report history, dose-reference flags, assigned peer review, critical-finding records and operational information.

Connect the examination to its record of care.

  1. 01

    Coordinate the examination

Create the order, arrange the slot and manage the modality worklist, with room and technologist conflict checks.

  2. 02

    Build the clinical record

Structure the report draft, preserve saved versions and maintain the records around review, dose and critical findings.

  3. 03

    Connect the department

Use imaging and clinical-system interfaces alongside examination states, coding and operational views.

Make review and oversight part of the radiology record.

Dose records, peer review and critical-finding follow-up address different kinds of oversight. SautiRIS keeps their context explicit: reference-level flags, assigned review and discrepancy records, acknowledgement and escalation states.

  • Dose metrics with reference-level comparisons where defined
  • Assigned peer review and discrepancy history
  • Critical-finding acknowledgement and escalation records

Quality records bring the context for professional review into the examination workflow.

System overview

See the work before, during and after the examination.

Coordinate scheduled examinations and procedure updates, structure report fields and preserve versions. Operational views bring examination states, modality activity and available timing records together with order-linked clinical codes.

  • Scheduling, modality worklists and procedure-state handling
  • Report templates, draft fields and version history
  • Order-linked coding and operational summaries

The workflow keeps pending, in-progress and completed work distinguishable.

System overview

An open foundation for the systems around radiology.

Radiology depends on connections to scanners, archives, viewers and clinical systems. SautiRIS provides explicit interfaces and extension points so those connections can be evaluated and developed as part of the implementation.

  • DICOM worklist, procedure status and image-archive interfaces
  • Viewer launch, HL7v2 messaging and FHIR resource/client integration
  • Provider hooks for integrating external imaging-analysis services

Connect an external analysis provider through the extension interfaces.

System overview

Built around the work.

Examination coordination

Order lifecycle rules, room and technologist conflict checks, scheduling availability, modality worklists and procedure-status handling make the operational state explicit.

Structured reporting

Template definitions, technique, comparison, findings and impression fields provide reporting structure. Saved versions, amendment methods and addenda support the record of change.

Dose records and review flags

Capture dose and exposure metadata and compare supported metrics with configured modality/body-part reference levels. Review flags and history preserve the context of the comparison.

Peer review and critical findings

Assign a reviewer, record agreement and discrepancies, and inspect review summaries. Critical-finding records distinguish acknowledgement, escalation and notification-attempt state.

Operational visibility and coding

Examination states, available timing records and modality activity support departmental review. Order-linked code assignments and quantity summaries connect clinical coding to the examination.

Interoperability and extensibility

DICOM services, HL7v2 messages, FHIR resources/client integration, archive adapters and viewer-launch configuration provide connection points. Tenant scope, role permissions, audit records and APIs support further implementation.
